Warranty Information

This warranty covers the watch movement against manufacturing defects for 2 years from the original date of purchase.

Warranty Claims Process

If a defect occurs within the warranty period, please follow the process outlined below to submit a repair request:

  1. Email hello@thomas-tompion.com
    • Include a brief description of the issue
    • A clear image of the watch
    • A copy of the original purchase invoice – without the purchase invoice or credit card receipt we will not be able to process the warranty.
  2. Once reviewed, a Customer Service Representative will confirm whether the return is approved and will provide:
    • A secure payment link for the handling and transportation fee of £24.95 /€24.95.
      • For outside of the UK & EU a price will be advised by country.
      • This is excluding the postage cost you will need to pay to return the watch to us.
    • A service reference number, which must be quoted in all correspondence
    • Request for your full name, address, and telephone number

Do not send the watch to the service centre until you have completed the above. We will not process any requests without a service reference number.

Important Information

  • Thomas Tompion does not cover or refund any customs duties, import charges, or local taxes associated with returning the watch.
  • When returning your watch, the insured value must match the value stated on the original purchase invoice.
  • When sending your watch from outside the UK, you must clearly mark your shipment as a return on the customs portion of the delivery label and/or commercial invoice. Your shipping company can advise you on how to do this correctly. Failure to do this may incur customs charges which will either be chargeable back to you or result in your package being refused.
  • Thomas Tompion cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage incurred during transit. Customers are strongly advised to use a tracked and insured postal service.
  • Please ensure the watch is securely packaged in a padded envelope and includes:
    1. A copy of the original purchase invoice
    2. Full contact details
    3. A brief explanation of the issue

Warranty Validity

This warranty is valid only for watches purchased from an official Thomas Tompion stockist. Watches purchased from third-party or unofficial sellers are not covered under this warranty.

Exclusions - Not Covered by Warranty

The warranty does not cover:

  1. Batteries, case, crystal (lens), stones, strap, or bracelet
  2. Damage resulting from misuse, lack of care, accidents, or normal wear and tear
  3. Water damage

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected by this warranty.
