At Thomas Tompion, we stand by the quality of our timepieces. This page outlines your 2-Year Limited Warranty.

1. Thomas Tompion 2-Year Limited Warranty

Outside of your statutory rights, we provide a 2-year warranty from the date of original purchase covering the watch movement against manufacturing defects.

What is Covered:

  • The internal watch movement.

What is NOT Covered (Exclusions):

  • Batteries, case, crystal (lens), stones, straps, or bracelets.
  • Damage resulting from misuse, lack of care, accidents, or normal wear and tear.
  • Water damage.
  • Watches purchased from unauthorised third-party sellers.

2. How to Make a Claim

To register your warranty, please fill in our Warranty Form here. To initiate a repair request, please email hello@thomas-tompion.com with:

  1. A brief description of the issue.
  2. A clear image of the watch.
  3. Proof of Purchase: A copy of the original invoice or receipt. (Required to validate the warranty period).

Once reviewed, we will provide a Service Reference Number. Do not send your watch to the service centre without this number.

  • Within 6 Months of Purchase: If the movement is faulty, we will investigate the error and remedy the issue. If no manufacturing faults are discovered, we will contact you and discuss options, including return shipping costs.
  • After 6 Months of Purchase: An insurance and return transportation fee of £9.99 for UK orders and £19.99 for EU orders applies. For regions outside the UK/EU, a specific quote will be provided. You will also be responsible for the cost of posting the watch to our service centre.

  • Packaging: Please use a padded envelope. Ensure the watch is secure.
  • Tracking: We strongly advise using a tracked and insured service. Thomas Tompion is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit to us.
  • International Returns: You must mark the shipment as a "RETURN" on customs forms. Any import charges or local taxes incurred due to incorrect labelling will be the responsibility of the sender.
  • Insured Value: When returning your watch, the insured value must match the value on your original purchase invoice.

  • For the first 6 months after purchase, please contact the retailer you purchased from directly.
